Suppose, I want to make a composite of MOF and graphene. I wish to study the effect of relative content of participating constituents on the electrochemical properties. How to choose the ratio for this study?
I have seen papers where the rationvaries like 90:10, 80:20, 70:30......etc.....Is it correct?

Though it can be done via ultrasonication by carrying out the reaction for long time, instead you can sonicate for 30 to 60 min and carryout hydrothermal reaction. By doing so composition of graphene with your material will be good and complete formation of reduced graphene oxide takes place where it is uncertain in ultrasonication.
Now, if we come to ratios, it depends on the each material and its applications. usually transition metal oxides and sulphides suffer from lack of optical conductivity. Hence it is recommended to vary the graphene ratios and optimum the results.
from literature it is learnt that optimum amount of graphene should be added in order to get best out of it.

Dr Patil has given the answer. However as regards concentration that you have to try it out. Sonicatoon only helps in providing a well mixed material of the constituents.

One of my concerns is that when I am increasing the graphene content... electrochemical properties are also good...even above 50:50 ratio, if I am increasing the graphene content... results are greater than previous ones...so what will be the role of MOF here....? If in any case I take 10:90 ratio, where 90 is graphene....then the results will be due to graphene only...so what is the limit....? There should be a logic to increase graphene....up to what extent I should increase graphene content?
