From shotgun metagenome data, from deduced amino acid sequence i got enzyme Peroxidase (AA2) but its not clear wheather it is Lignin peroxidase, Mn peroxidase, Dye-type or versatile peroxidase.
How can I know which peroxidase enzyme sequence i have?
wheather i have to go for plate screening after protein extraction in sequence based cloning ? or is there any insilico method to screen this enzyme sequence?
Try to look for the conserved domain of the different peroxidases enzymes, which are already reported in the NCBI, in the protein section

Other than that enzyme kinetics could define the type as the oxidation potential differs.
