How to know the HOMO and LUMO level of the natural dyes in cyclic voltametry techniques?

Hi,

Normally the peoples are used to measuring the HOMO and LUMO level of the semiconductors (like ZnO, TiO2 and some inorganic semiconductors) in cyclic voltametry techniques. These are all the acting as a working electrodes and it is in the form of solid or films, so it will deposited on the substrate. But now i need to measure the HOMO and LUMO level of the unknown natural dyes and it is in the form liquid. Hence how to coat on the substrate or how to measure
