How to know doi of an article to upload it on research gate ?

I am facing problem in uploading an article on research gate.

Dear Richa Sharma

Once you will upload then doi will be generated by Research Gate. You do not need to put doi while uploading if the article has not been published by any publisher. However, for an already published paper, publisher used to assign a doi to the paper.

Hope it will solve the problem.
