The development of long term, higher and associative and critical evaluation thinking

There are two policy related  aspects in case higher education in india....

1. Actual policy formation

2. its implementation

Our experiences shows that there are few problems ...

1. lacuna in policy formation .

2. inconsistency in approach

3. More attention is given on technicalities and not focused on core issues

4. many time higher education policies are formed individual (actual their should be overall education policy formation and their should be linkages with primary, secondary and higher education.)

 5. policies are formed more by the officials and less by educationalist. 

6. political interference is the major threat.

7. syllabus formation is the major aspect of policy but topics which included are the tools of implementing specific ideology and far away from practical world.

8. Simple policies with good implementation is better than ideal policy and no implementation. 

9. Good policies not implemented properly.

10. feedback from past students, parents, industrialist, economist, planners also should be consider at the time of policy formation.
