Recently I am moving my research to beta amyloid peptide and starts with the Ab42. So far, I have some trouble to keep the amyloid peptide Ab42 to be monomer instead of oligomer of fibrils. The peptide I bought is a click chemistry peptide from Genscript which can be converted into native peptide at a pH higher than 7.4 buffer condition. Does anyone have any idea of how to keep the amyloid peptide as a monomer at neutral pH? And normally is there any easy way to check the aggregation status of Ab42 solution?
