I am looking for a way to judge whether participants used deliberate or intuitive thinking in a decision-making task. The judgement will be made after the task. Is there any suggestions? I would be apprecitaed for any suggestions as I could not find a similar judgement done by any research.

Your question makes much sense. How can we know if, in a decision-making task, participants are using deliberate or intuitive thinking? I may be wrong, but as a psychologist I do not know of any research that has addressed this question. By definition, intuitive thinking reminds me of insight and rapid thinking whereas
deliberate thinking reminds me of ponderation and reflective thinking. In this vein, I would say that the more a decision takes time the more deliberate it is. In contradistinction, the less a decision takes time the more intuitive it is. So, the speed or the quantity of time spent to take a decision may be a way to see if the decision at hand is based on deliberate or intuitive thinking. I would urge you to perform a Google about cognitive styles, namely about impulsive vs reflective cognitive styles.

This query seems to assume all decisions are taken by individuals for personal reasons, which is but one instance in the far bigger world of decision making. At higher levels than that of the individual, decision making is a stream of inquiry, not an event, that rests on decision-making styles linked to appropriate techniques. Wherever possible, this higher level type of decision making encourages parties to play roles rife with dissent and debate.
