Hallo everyone,

I want to model the hydraulic oil in the chamber of a tool holder under static pressure. This means that, the fluid is not flowing but works like a solid material to fullfill the clamping function of the tool holder. I'm using abaqus standard to do my simulation.

There I find the interaction property Fluid cavity. An important character of the hydraulic oil I want to simulate is the compressibility.

But in Abaqus standard the Bulk Modulous is only considered for pneumatic fluid. For Hydraulic oil the calculation of volume is dependent upon temperature

but independent of the fluid pressure.

Is there a solution that I can take the pressure into consideration.

The documentation I've looked at is linked following.

Has someone done a similar simulation or research?

I hope for your answer sincerely.
