Hi,

I am investigating 6 PCB (Polychlorinated Biphenyl) congeners in sediments from 9 locations from the river bank for two seasons (pre-monsoon and post-monsoon). I have carried out Shapiro Wilk W test for those 6 PCBs in SPSS and most of the sig values showed .000. Then I applied log (1+X) for data normalization. But sig values of 3 PCB congeners showed .000 in the same normality test. I have attached the test report here. What should I do in this case? What test should I conduct? Is there another way to solve this?

I have inputted the concentration of each PCBs at the same column (N=18) and perform the test without considering seasons. Should I perform the test for individual seasons separately? What test should I conduct to compare the data?

As I have limited statistics knowledge, I really appreciate your suggestions. Thanks in advance.
