How to insert load on selection of an area?

I want to insert force on upper half of the cylinder in ansys workbench. How can I do this?

Hi Ehsan,

You can apply the load on a desired surface as follow:

1- partition the outer surface of cylinder in two parts by split command in design modeler

2- apply the force in the mechanical environment.
