I want to study expression of given genes in peanut under Aspergillus flavus treatment. Now, I do not know how and how long to infected peanut seed using Aspergillus flavus in greenhouse? Whether peanut seed and Aspergillus flavus were cultivated in together or Aspergillus flavus infected germinated seed? Thanks!

A lot of field and greenhouse studies show that Aspergillus flavus increases related to stresses such as drought and insect damage. I
t would best to have a uniform stress treatment combined with a uniform inoculation procedure.
I would suggest using a standard spore concentration for inoculation and inoculate in the flower stage and for best determination take the plants to full maturity and rank the development in terms of incidence and severity.
The United States Department of Agriculture has a mycotoxin laboratory which could be a resource for suggest procedures which are well developed.

Hi, you can grow A.flavus on millet seed for 14 day, and you can use it as inoculation in the pots.
