How to increase the Sample count rate during zeta potential measurements using ZetaPALS?

I have been trying to analyze the zeta potential for lignin nanoparticles using ZetaPALS. However, I have not been able to obtain any consistent result. The results fluctuate between positive and negative. Also, the sample count rate often appears to be too low. How do I overcome these problems?

Verify the system with the appropriate standard.

Increase the concentration and ensure you have a background conductivity of the order of 0.001M NaCl or similar.
