Hello, I am using the heat analogy to simulate chloride diffusion using coupled temp-displacement. i.e., to couple mechanics with diffusivity. I do need to run the simulation ideally for years, to predict the chloride at x years. However, I am also suing USDFLD to couple damage with diffusing using Smeared crack. The problem comes when running the whole model I am having issues with the time, without loads and mechanic effects I can easily run it for 50 years, once I incorporate mechanics the analysis fails almost at the beginning due to the time. I assume it's due to the non-linearity but perhaps is not even possible to do it like this? perhaps with CDP model? Some advice will be highly appreciated! Thanks.
