I'm investigating the effect of the Solar Wind drag on the CMEs, especially HCMEs, and I'm using the Neural Network technique (Linear Regression) on MATLAB to do so.
My input variables are from the SOHO/LASCO catalog and I would like to include also the SW indices from ACE, WIND, or OMNI satellites for a better forecasting. I was wondering how to use both datasets together in the NN although their time resolution isn't the same (i.e. the SW indices are time-series data, but the SOHO/LASCO data is not).
I think you can extract different solar wind related features like the speed, direction, time, sun directions etc and based on that you can classify by using neural networks to find optimal solution.
