How to improve intensity of gold conjugate ?

I have done a gold conjugate with polyclonal antibody .The intensity of blot developed for my recombinant antigen is very faint .How can I improve my intensity of blot?

What size of gold particle do you have? You need an appropriate size, but for blots (as opposed to lateral flow devices) most people would use an HRP labelled Ab and a chemiluminescent substrate, which is far more sensitive than gold.
