Dear All,
Every time a TIFF file is imported to Erdas, the software coverts that to an img file and then allows to open that there in software.
But I have several satellite images of Landsat 8 with multiple bands. So it is taking long to convert all of them one by one to img.
Is there any way to import/covert more than one TIFF file (e.g. 30 TIFF files at once) to img file in a simple and single process in Erdas?
In your program or function or exceuting file, it is not necessory for your data to be in the same format. You can only mention in your strings weather it is image file or TIFF etc.
Arjun Jana From the main ERDAS Imagine toolbar, select Import. Choose Import, Type: Geotiff, Media: File, and then Geotiff for TM band 1. Click the OK button. Similarly, click OK on the Import Tiff box.
