I'd like to image the nuclear envelope in live primary human neutrophils and was wondering if anyone had any techniques for doing this. Neutrophils are short-lived cells which largely precludes transfection with flourescent tagged proteins, and I'd ideally like to see the nuclear membrane dynamically so fixing and staining with antibodies would be very much second best. At present we are using a DNA stain which clearly outlines the DNA but we are specifically interested in the nuclear envelope itself.
