Subhabrata Senapati Your question makes no sense - How to label XRD peaks with Miller indices manually (without any software)? .... Is there any way to label the XRD by the help of Origin?
Origin is software. Print out the diffractogram and mark the peaks with a black pen as we used to do in the old days...
✓ Find outpeak positions of all observed diffraction patterns.
✓ go to X'pert highscore program.
Note: the variation in peak position should be minute. This small variation is corresponding to crystallite size. Methods of preparation, so this minute variation in 2theta values is acceptable.
The procedure of assigning Miller symbols to diffraction lines is called indexing. De facto and roughly there are 3-4 approaches - 2-3 are fully correct and the third is slightly incorrect. The correct options for indexing consist in the use of special software for indexing or the use of Rietveld analysis or software for modelling of the XRD pattern from structure datas. Slightly incorrect, or a non-systematic option is the possibility of taking Miller symbols from the appropriate card in the diffraction database.
