I have a 6m YDFL fiber in my hand and looking to build a ring fiber laser cavity that could have the highest gain so that I can easily achieve Q-switch or modelock with my current SA.
However, the YDFL I have is not Liekki and the spec is incomplete as shown below. Is there anyway to identify a suitable length for my YDFL based on the current spec?
