Sir, When I asked about the same during SEM analysis, the experts told that the contrast image of nanofibre or any nanomaterial obtained through SEM is based on the charge. If the core and shell material of same material and almost same charges. the whole fibre will have same contrast. So, we cannot differentiate core and shell seperately. if the charge of core and shell is different, the contrast in the image will be different and we can differentiate. So, my doubt is that do the same sample by TEM analysis will show core-shell structure? or do we need to add some thing to increase the charge of core or shell solution? so that by difference in contrast we could differentiate the core-shell structure.

For TEM analysis you dont need to do anything for the sample. Just collect the fibers directly on the copper grid of TEM sample holder.

Dear Devaraju,

exist two diferent ways to identify the core and share layers.

1. You can add two different fluorochromes in each of the solutions. Then, just observe in the fluorescence microscope, previous cut of the sample with a sharp escalpel.

2. SEM or FSEM, also with a sagital cut. But to improve the identification you can make the core or the share layer with pores. But just one.
