I have prepared a thin PLCL film by solvent casting technique. The solvent I used is acetone. I am getting a sticky film even after heating the film at 90DegC for 3-6hrs. Please suggest any treatment for obtaining a completely dry film without compromising its transparency.
Hi . You should carry out a DSC OR DMTA to determine the Tg Or even a TGA analysis to determine that the solvent has been remained or not.
Maybe at 90 °C, the synthesized polymer melts .
The melting temperature depends on the molecular weight as well as the weight ratio of your component (lactic an lactone)

Also, it's better to use a vaccum oven to remove the solvent
