Hello,
I want to make my own yeast extract from saccharomyces cerevisae for microbiological media. I need a exact amount of yeast, so wanted to know, how much grams (molar mass is preferred) of glucose/saccharose I will need to make 2 grams of yeast out of 1g starting culture.
I meant doing it that way, because else I would have to precipetate, filter, freeze dry andund weight the product, which is inconvenient and expensive.
