I am preparing ferrite sample by means of sol gel with novel reductant maltose. This is my first time preparation of sample so how do i know that maltose is removed because when i am annealing at high temperature white fume is coming which i am thinking is maltose. Is it normal that means if it will come like this everytime i go for high temperature annealing. and how do I get rid of maltose at the drying stage of gel.
