How to get PVP free standing film?

Hi,

My PVP has 40000 MW, I am trying to make a free-standing film with it, for my research I have to water as dissolving materials? When I am spreading it on the glass surface it becomes brittle and cant peeled it off. I am using 100mg/ml concentartion. Would you please let me know your expert opinion about It?
