I don't have a dispersion problem, or issue with making the samples. The problem is that CQDs are so small that they burn under so high resolution and the exact boundaries cannot be observed.

CQDs/Au nanocomposite was prepared using a simple chemical reduction method based on the addition of 5 mL CQDs solution to 3 mL of 1.0 × 10−2 mol L−1 of HAuCl4 solution and 1.0 mL of 5.0 × 10−2 mol L−1 NH3. The mixture was transferred into a 50-mL conical flask and completed to volume using deionized water
