Your question is ill-posed. You must be more precise because I do not understand what is the "solar irradiation modeled data", the "one year data from real sensor in the same location, and what do you want to synthesize.

However, I may partly answer the two other questions: "My question is what is the most recommended approach to create a typical year for solar irradiation (8760 hours) to be used for design and analysis of solar system in another software?", and "Is the SAM models only applicable in USA or it can be used for any other locations? "

There is no recommended approach actually. TMY3 proposed by NREL is a well-known, well-described technique for creating TMY. TMY3 denotes also a format for TMY files. The technique can be applied worldwide. SAM is a tool that may exploit such TMYs. Actually, as soon as your own-created TMY file has the same format than the TMY3 files, you may input it into SAM.

The TMY3 technique is one of the several proposed technologies.

You must remember that a TMY is a customized weather dataset of one-year of meteorological data that aims at representing climatic conditions deemed to be typical over a long-term period and that influence the production of the selected solar energy system. recently, MINES ParisTech and others have elaborated more on this and have proposed the concept of "driver". The driver is defined by the user as an explicit function of the pyranometric and meteorological relevant variables to improve the representativeness of the TMY datasets with respect the specific solar energy conversion system of interest.

Thank you Mr.Aristizábal for sharing the document. However, I didn't find an answer to my question on how to get a better quality data from satellite and real sensor data.

Appreciate your feedback although sometimes it is difficult to find a long-term for a specific locations. Unfortunately, the one-year real data doesn't overlap with the (18 years ) long-term records from satellite. It would be much appreciated if you have any other suggestions for such data combination to get high quality meteorological data.
