This can be done to some degree with a multi-dimensional rotating plot. The idea is to represent the data values as points in a 4-dimensional space and visualize the relationship by rotating them in any 3-dimensional subspace. Another tool that can help is to make graphs of the individual variables that are linked together so that you can highlight parts of one graph and immediately see the same cases highlighted in the other graphs. Ideally, the rotating plot should be one of those linked graphs.
