I am very much concerned with following;

Cronbach's reliability test > .7

Correlation among variables >0.2-0.8

Basically I am using variables from two base articles to compile a new adapted questionnaire. What preventive measures should i use to refrain from negative Cronbach's alpha or BELOW 0.7 test results. Also, Correlation matrix exhibit either weak or moderate correlation among all variables.

Is there a software that can help me factor by factor analysis to develop a new questionnaire based on previous research, etc.

Please help, all of you PhD doctors.
