The current funding for my research project has dried up. Any suggestions where do I get short funding for rest of my project? Project involves design, synthesis and pharmacological evaluation of chromones and analogues. I am done with the design part based on QM, 4D QSAR, docking and pharmacophore based design, bioisostere guided studies and ADMET based prioritization. In synthetic work I have done with 5 novel schemes with around 60 final compounds, (60 novel intermediates as well). I have done the characterization part with H-NMR and HR-MS of 14 compounds only due to limited funding provided with University of Pune. I am searching for funding for rest of my work which includes characterization of compounds by H-NMR, C13-NMR , HR-MS and cytotoxicity studies on HeLa cell lines.
Please suggest some organizations or institutions which can provide me the funding? I failed to fetch funding from two organizations, namely Indian council of medical research and department of science and technology.

Try IFS grant though the call for individual grant is closed, you could try out the call for collaborative grant.
Also check out the DAAD grant which can be accessed from www.ANSTI.org
Check out the A. G. Leventis website. they also have a call which is ongoing now. this call for applications will close on the 31st of May. All the best with your search.

I have almost left the hope of getting funds and was thinking to cut down my living expenses to satisfy myself with science. I will try with I would appreciate if you suggest me few other opportunities as well. I don't know but my earlier efforts to fetch funds failed, may be I could not convince the reviewers.
