I try to run a MP2 calculation and I end up with the following,
Error ENOSPC: The number of shared memory identifiers for the node has been reached.
I ran exetyp=check and I used those values compatible with 8 cores, but it does not work even though I increase those values.
Please help to resolve it. I attached the input file for the convenience.

Can you upload the log file as well? How much memory does the node(s) you're running on have available? Also, are you using a queue?
Thank You every much Jared, I entangled with this. I am not using a queue. I have a problem in allocating memory per node as well. I enclosed the log file as well.
It looks like you don't have enough shared memory available to you on the machine you're trying to run this one (you're asking for around 75 GB). Is the amount requested the smallest you can use and still run the job? You might take a hit time wise, but that's better than not being able to run at all. Or even try using a smaller basis like one of the STO-nG of even a smaller Pople one, just to see if you can get it to run when the memory requirements aren't quite so large.
Thank you for your reply, but depending on the exetyp=check run prior to the optimization run did not show that much of memory. I am using 16 GB memory installed linux based computer system.
From your input file you're requesting 78 GB of memory, which appears to be the problem.
Can you show me how to calculate that required 75 GB memory depending on MEMDDI and MWORDS ?
For the memddi you have 10550 MW which for a 64 bit machine is about 78 GB. You can use this website to convert from MW to GB or the reverse as well.
