Perhaps membranes technique (dialysis) helps you: 1) place your particles in a solution with fixed pH; 2) load this suspension/sol in the dialysis bag; 3) Immerse the bag in pure aqueous solution (or PBS) having the same fixed pH-value of the dialysis machine; 4) After some time take a sample of solution from the dialysis container and check the concentration of the drug. Taking samples at regular intervals, you can study the dependence between the kinetics of drug release and the pH of the solution.
The method described by Shcherbakov is a good method of testing. When you remove the sample for analysis, the best way to check is by HPLC. then you will see if the drug is intact or decomposed.
