I would recommend not grouping individuals according to their age. By creating age categories from a continuous age variable (e.g., age in years), you loose information. As a consequence, you may loose statistical power. Age categories are also arbitrary--people who are similar in age might be assigned to different categories. Likewise, people who differ quite a bit in age may end up in the same age category.

I would leave age as is (e.g., in years) and simply run the Pearson correlation. In addition, I would look at a scatterplot to check for potential non-linearity, outliers, etc.

You only obtain means if you compare groups. But, once again, I would advise against grouping individuals according to age if you measured age as a continuous variable.

Hello Muhammad Salman Munir Malik. Your description of the data suggests that you might want a linear regression model with X = Age and Y = creatinine level rather than a correlation. If you do decide that you really want to report the correlation, though, I suggest using the extension command that will give you a confidence interval for the correlation--see the attached image.

In either case, I agree with Christian Geiser that you should also inspect a scatterplot. HTH.
