I have the Excel file of the LC data, and it has more than 30 peaks on it. I do not know how to get the average peak capacity from it since we have 30 peaks. Do I need to calculated each number of the theoretical plate for each peak and then find the ( peak capacity) and then, get the average value? Which does not make sense to me as it is really time-consuming?

"Peak Capacity" is either expressed for one sample (one peak) or for a column. Since each peak (sample) is different, we do not calculate an average. That would be like measuring resolution of many peaks in one analysis, then averaging them together (which makes no scientific sense). Even Plate Number is calculated based on ONE peak (one sample) so will have different values for different peaks. Column Peak Capacity is an estimate of a column's (not an "average") ability to resolve a # of peaks (with higher numbers meaning a higher probability of resolving an unknown).
Ask your teacher if they would like you to calculate peak capacity for one peak, the column and method or all peaks in the chromatogram.
