I am trying to find out which effect sizes can be detected with a simple mediation analysis, that was conducted in SPSS using the PROCESS Macro by Hayes (Model 4).

I have the following information:

• Sample Size N = 1081
• α = .05
• 1−β = .90

How can I find out, which size the indirect effect has, that can be detected in the simple mediation analysis with these settings? Which program can I use for this?

Does the effect size that can be detected for the indirect effect depend on path a and path b?
