I want to cast a thin layer of Polyetherimide/DMAc dope solution with thickness of about 50 micron on a glass to fabricate an ultrafiltration membrane via phase inversion method. Can any one give me a solution to avoid the large pores and defects on the membrane surface? I have attached the figure of a sample which have been emerged from the coagulation bath (water), too.
