Hi All,

I am looking for experts who have previously fabricated a GMI (Giant magnetoimpedance) sensor. I am planning to fabricate it for one of my applications. The stack I am interested in is Fe/Cu/Fe. I am open to other suggestions as well. I have read through some of the papers and I am still looking for better papers that have explored the detailed fabrication of such sensors. I plan to use an E-beam evaporator to deposit the material (PVD).

Some papers do mention the use of a bias magnetic field to get magnetic texture. Unfortunately, our system does not have a bias magnetic field system (we could try making use of some permanent magnets to maybe achieve this) wanted to know if there would still be some GMI effect without this.

Any tips would be appreciated I am new to this so all inputs are welcome.

Thank you.
