Somebody has told me Ir sensors that I have used in my circuit, are the same as Mx sensors however they are different and their circuits can not be arranged similar but
he does not accept. Is there any reference as pamphlet, booklet, book or book chapter about it?
IR sensors used in LED-Phototransistor pairs have no similarities to PIR Motion Sensor elements. The former is operating in the 800-1100 nm range and the latter is operating in the 8-14 um range. The phototransistor is just a light sensitive transistor with the collector and emitter as leads and the PIR element is a pyroelectric sensor that is constructed in a completely different way and has a much higher sensitivity. The phototransistor cannot detect radiation from humans. The PIR sensor also has a patterned Fresnel lens that causes moving warm objects to impose a pulse train on an integrated circuit which then triggers the output. Hope that helps you.
Thank you a lot. I attach picture and film of my liquid soap dispenser with innovative circuit and the distance between IR send-receive sensors is 40cm.
The soap dispenser has DC load but attachment is hand dryer with ac load and the distance between two sensors are 20[cm] that can be increased up to 40[cm] according to user desire.
