I am looking for a toolbox or any tool that would allow me to extract pupil size and changes in pupil size of a subject depicted in a video. I have a set of videos, each one depicting a single subject and their eyes are visible throughout the video. I would like to be able to extract the information of the pupil size and change during the video and have that in a set of numbers that I can potentially plot, analyze and correlate with other variables.
Please note that I am NOT aiming to track pupil size of an observer (watching the video), therefore standard eye-tracking devices won't work for my goal. I am instead interested in the pupil size of the subjects depicted in the videos per se.

Well, If you have programming skills, then you can achieve your goal by segmenting the pupil from all your video frames and compute its size.
your procedure could be as this:
1. Read the video,
2. Extract each frame,
3. In each frame, segment the pupil( should be the only "circle" in the frame),
4. calculate the segmented circle size.... and that is it.
you may need to do some pre-processing before step-3.

To detect the eye local region in each frame you can use the wavelet (haar) several papers were published in this field. Later, detecting the pupil is easy and feasible using different techniques (ex. Gabor filter+ pca) or simply by applying one step of thresholding with a dynamic threshold. The size of pupil will be calculated as a percentage of the image, or the eye size? In any case you have to take into account the scale of frames, they have to have the same scale to give a coherent size of pupil from one frame to the successive one.
