DNA extraction can perform with an commercial kit but with a modification of the manufacturer's protocol. you can pick some of mycelia, then combine with freezing your fungi in liquid nitrogen or glass bead disruption, and then followed by additional purification steps.
Hi, you can follow this protocol that I used for Aspergillus niger. It worked very well. I hope it can help you!!!
