• Start a new HFSS Design with Driven Modal solution.
• Use lumped ports (for compact circuits) at input and output.
• Use Draw > Lumped RLC or assign Lumped RLC boundaries between structures to create inductors and capacitors.
• Connect components using small 3D structures (boxes or lines). Assign appropriate materials and boundaries (e.g., copper, PEC).
• Define a frequency sweep covering your bandpass filter range.
• Click Analyze All.
• Plot S-parameters (S21, S11) using Results > Create Report.
• Export S-parameters from both HFSS and ADS as Touchstone files and compare them in MATLAB or any plotting tool.

ADS already provides a built-in tool that converts lumped LC elements into equivalent transmission line structures (microstrip). You can use the LineCalc tool or right-click on an inductor/capacitor and use the option to synthesize a physical implementation based on your substrate.
