Currently i have completed my experiment. Now i need to evaluate my approach. But as we know to evaluate we need to compare the result with existing result based on some criteria.
My technique is quite new and do not have directly/close related work to compare with, so how can i evaluate my technique?
Try to use another experimental method or find someone that might simulate your experiment.
First of all, it is VERY rare that there is no related work :) You may have to do a thorough literature search to convince yourself/others that there is no related work. If you are indeed convinced that there is none, then your job is to convince the peer reviewers will (in your paper) that your work is completely original.
When you say there is no prior work, ask yourself if your search is very narrow. Suppose you are searching on numerous keywords are looking for an exact match, you may not find any. Even if there are papers that come up when you drop one or more keywords, then these papers are "related."
