I am developing the design of an air dryer by adsorption and I am in doubt to determine the dimensions (height and diameter) of the adsorbent fixed bed and the calculation of purge for the regeneration of the saturated bed.
It's a very specific subject and I did not find material about it.

Hi, You need information on the flow rate and the adsorption isotherms of the adsorbent you need to use. You want a bed long enough to retain water inside the column, but should be able to recover all the other components. Also, the Length to diameter ratio for packed beds should be around 5-8.
