How to ensure low oxygen concentration in bench scale feed tank?

I am working with synthetic effluent and anoxic system feeding bioreactors. I am analyzing in the oxygen concentration in the beginning of the experiment and I am obtaining about 2,97 to 3,07 mgO2/L. Before the start up of the system, argon gas was provided to eliminate oxygen from the medium and not interfere with denitrification. Even so, the oxygen concentration was high. How can I get even lower oxygen concentration in the feed tank?
