The neutron sensitivity of CR-39 is of the order of 1e-4 to 1e-5 tracks per neutron. Is there any method to increase its sensitivity?
You can use different types of CR-39 detectors. Choose which one is most suitable for your experiment. Maybe articles in attachment can help :)

What about the idea of doping CR 39 with Boron? I am not sure but during 1980s we used LR115 doped with Boron for n-detection. Hope to search old archives of GNDU.
Thank you sir, we have tried to combine CR-39 with boron radiators. It helps in detecting thermal neutrons. But the fast neutron sensitivity does not improve much.
Perhaps we used the same technique for Thermal neutron detection as U state.
Yes sir, the (n,alpha) reaction with boron produces alpha tracks in CR-39 or LR-115. The cross-section is very good.
