Do you suppose that all Research Community members know what is it your object of study? It is difficult to answer your question without knowledge of your system. What is it lipofundin, at least from optical point of view? Is it liquid? Powder? How strong are scattering properties of your mixture?
How are relationships between scattering and transmission, for example?
Next question, it is not clear, what mixture parameters do you like to find? It is clear that scattering is undesirable, but what parameters do you measuring?
It is much simpler answer a question, which clearly describe your system, its properties, and the goals of your project. In present state all of above is unknown.
