I want to make a bimetallic nanoparticle. I can perfectly synthesize one of them (Pd) with using its precursor, but the other one (SnO2) is a pre-prepared commercial nanopowder. Does anyone have a suggestion that how I can make a good alloy nanoparticle with these two.
You could use electrospinng or spin coating technique. For example: you can disperse SnO2 with your Pd precursor and then spin coat the bled. After that if you do calcination/subsequent heat treatment the precursor will converted Pd and will make a Pd/SnO2 composite.
Welcome Hannah. I guess you can directly do electrospinning or spin coating on the support. For spincoating substrate should be flat and for electrospining it could be of any shape. Also, I think you can transfer the electrospun nanofiber form on any substrate.
