Write out the data file in ASCII point format. Then write a tiny program in C to read the data, calculate the normalized variables, and write out a second file in the same format. Open the second data file in Tecplot. That's the easy way. The more difficult way would be to create a zone having the same dimensions, apply transforms to go from the first zone to the second, and then plot the transform zone.

Write the following equations in data--alter---equation option available in Tecplot:

{New_X}={X}/50

{New_Y}={Y}/50

here 50 is the normalized length scale.

then go to: Plot--Assign XYZ

and choose variables New_X and New_Y as X and Y.

On tecplot go to data ------alter ------ then to specific equation ---------write the normalized equation in the specific equation box then you can normalize both x and y coordinates.
