No Mushtaq sir. My sample is not smelling like rotten egg. Its smelling like sulfur. So I just want to get rid of the smell by washing it in a suitable solvent which will not alter the stoichiometry of MoS2.

If your sample is in powder form, I suggest you to wash with pure ethanol but to avoid with acetone.
