My plant extract could dissolve only in DMSO. I tried with different concentrations of DMSO. But it is difficult to dissolve. So can I able to make different concentrations from less concentrated DMSO solution after dissolving in pure DMSO.
First you prepare a stock solution of higher concentration and then you can make different solutions of different concentration depending upon the requirment
Yes, you can use DMSO for making test solutions. First dissolve your methanolic extract in DMSO to prepare a stock solution and then prepare series of concentration through diluting it in accordance to your experimental need.
DMSO is itself a solvent. It can not be diluted with water. You can make different concentration of extract or compound by adjusting the diluation with DMSO i.e. adding the required amount of DMSO
