I need to obtain IBU aqueous solution. Some papers report that they dissolve it in water/methanol (90/10). But it did not work. What to use to dissolve it? Some buffer or NaOH? Or maybe some salt. What can you suggest?
Ibuprofen is an acid, thus you must specify if you have the drug as an acid (protonated) or as a sodium (or another ion) salt. The former will be highly soluble in organic solvents and the latter in aqueous environments.
